The Infamous Masterson’s , located in the heart of Moonee Ponds , markets itself as a trendy “hipster” hangout , but my most recent experience at this establishment resulted in an experience I’d rather forget . While the bar may look welcoming at first glance , what I discovered behind its doors was shocking and unacceptable on multiple levels .
Cleanliness Issues : Filthy and Neglected Beyond Belief
From the moment I walked in , it was clear that cleanliness was not a priority at this bar . The floors were sticky , and a foul smell of old alcohol and neglected washrooms polluted the entire venue . Reeking of a mixture of ammonia , old age and sickness . The serving zone , which should be the focal point of any pub, was overflowing with soiled cups and litter that looked like it had accumulated over weeks. For a business that provides refreshments , these issues are utterly disgraceful and raise serious concerns about the quality of their offerings.
